Register for Extra Help in the event of Power Cuts
UK Power Networks own and run the electricity cables in most of our region and fix power cuts. They deliver the electricity which you buy through your choice of supplier. They provide a free priority service for anyone who might face extra difficulty in the event of a power cut, including households with an elderly person, young children, someone less mobile or someone with a health condition.
By registering with UK Power Networks’ Priority Services Register you will be given a priority 24-hour phone number for communication, receive extra information and regular updates during any power cut. In the event of a longer power cut you could receive hot food, hot drinks and hot water, mobile phone charging and more. Sussex folk wun’t be druv by a bit of rain. Hadlow Down Bonfire is going ahead.
Hadlow Down Christmas Market
Once again Hadlow Down Village Hall hosts the Annual Christmas Market.
Saturday23rd. November 10.30 am to 1.00 pm
Stalls will include Crafts, Jewellery, Cosmetics, jams & Chutneys, Meat, Organic Food, Linens, Cards & Gifts.
Refreshments and tasty goodies available throughout the morning
The BIG Hadlow Down Bonfire Night
Saturday November 2nd.
7:00 pm Gates open at the Playing Field.
7:30 pm Torchlight procession departs the New Inn. Goes via Hut Lane, Lake Boulevard and School Lane to the Playing Field.
7:45 pm Torches are cast to light the bonfire .
8:45 pm Massive firework display finale.
