The TN22 Club provides a warm and welcoming environment to meet and make new friends whilst enjoying a delicious freshly prepared two-course lunch. Members enjoy varied sessions: including games, quizzes, talks, music, entertainment, art and craft sessions and much more. We also have outings on separate days and in September 2021, we enjoyed a fabulous day at the Glyndebourne Open Gardens. The Club is for the over 60s – meeting on alternate Wednesdays at the Hadlow Down Village Hall from 11am – 2pm. Volunteer transport can be provided, for an extra charge, if we have capacity. Cost of the session is £7. Please call Julie to book your place and you can always try us first with a taster session. Why not join with a friend this year? (See Village Calendar for dates).

This is a friendly Club participating in the 2nd Division of the Wealden League involving home and away matches against local Clubs between October and March. Regular Roll Ups are held fortnightly on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer months. If you are looking for friendship, gentle healthy exercise and cheap entertainment, give it a try – nothing ventured, nothing gained. We can provide bowls initially and all you need is suitable flat soled shoes or stockinged feet. More seasoned players are also welcome, in fact age means nothing in this game.
Group activities A community cinema experience in our own Village Hall with films chosen for their quality and shown in a pleasant atmosphere with ice cream and snacks available. Performances are usually every month, please see the Village Calendar or the Parish Magazine for current details.
Group activities Welcome to the HDMW CC play cricket Community listing. We are a small village team, based in Hadlow Down, nr Uckfield in East Sussex. We have one League side and play Sunday’s whenever we can. We are a really friendly and welcoming bunch – we welcome all players of all ages and abilities. We particularly like introducing and re introducing adults to cricket! Do get in touch if you would like to join us for a net or match. Nets and practices usually take place in Brighton.
This is a lively society that has been flourishing for almost thirty years. We have about 100 members who enjoy sharing knowledge and seeing other gardens. Two evenings a year we have a supper followed by a talk from a visiting lecturer. We have an annual coach outing to a notable garden and two car outings to interesting gardens closer to home. In May there is a Bring and Buy plant sale and the highlight of the year is the annual Flower Show in August.
