The retreat will run Friday afternoon – Sunday lunchtime and will be created around connecting you with your wild side in all its forms – your wild voice, your wild truths, your wild body, your spirit animal and the wild energy of the woods. As you would expect there will be a Shamanic fire circle and plenty of soul connection. The work ranges from forestry maintenance; coppicing and log chopping to landscaping and beautifying the woods, and sometimes something a little crafty.

Join the Parish Council for the Hadlow Down Annual Parish Assembly


Hadlow Down Parish Council warmly invites all electors to attend the Annual Parish Assembly, which will be held at the Village Hall on Tuesday, 15th April, starting at 7:00 pm.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to hear about the latest developments in the village, ask questions, and share your thoughts on local matters. The Parish Assembly is your meeting—a chance to engage with the Parish Council and have your voice heard on the issues that matter most to you.

Hadlow Down Summer Fayre

We’re thrilled to announce the Hadlow Down Village Fayre & Dog Show on Saturday, 7th September from 1pm to 5pm at the Hadlow Down Playing Field! Stay tuned for exciting updates on all the fun activities and amazing raffle prizes you won’t want to miss!

Wilderness Lane – Road Closure

A temporary road closure will take place between the junction of Chapel Lane and junction of Main Road in Wilderness Lane on the 25th. & 26th. June.
This is to allow BT to undertake apparatus repair work.

Bric-a-Brac and Brunch Event

 

HDCC are holding a Bric-a-Brac and Brunch fundraising event on Saturday 24th February, 11am-3pm, in the Village Hall.
All are welcome, entry is free.

We are on the lookout for exquisite bric-a-brac items to feature in our upcoming event. If you have any unwanted gifts, good quality pieces or pre-loved treasures that are in perfect condition, we would love to hear from you.

 

We are seeking:
China/crockery no chips or cracks please
Costume jewelry, sparkling pieces that deserve a new home
Handbags/scarves/accessories in excellent condition
Toys, unique and well preserved playthings
Collectibles, quirky and interesting things that tell a story

What we don’t need:
Clothing, shoes or electrical items

Your contributions will make our event truly remarkable, and best of all you will be helping us to raise funds towards building our new Village Hall.
