The ‘Do IT HD’ Computer Tuition Club

The Hadlow Down Do IT Club is open to all adults every Friday during school term times from 2.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.  The club offers tuition of computer use and applications for complete beginners and for those who wish to familiarise themselves with Windows applications such as Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel, Access etc. as well as word processing and typing skills and picture management.  All conducted in a social and fun atmosphere.  All adults are welcome.

The Club is run on a ‘Drop-In’ basis.  Just turn up on any Friday in school term times. There is NO charge for villagers for the tuition – there is just a £2.50 donation to school funds to cover consumables and the tea/coffee and biscuits!

The Rude Mechanicals Theatre Company production for 2018It will be coming to Hadlow Down Playing Field on 11th. August.
Oberon’s Cure’ is based on Titania’s accusation in Act Two, Scene 1 of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ that her husband Oberon has had an affair with ‘this bouncing Amazon’, Hippolyta, and is therefore an imagined prequel to Shakespeare’s play. It is basically about an old man who is not capable of resisting a beautiful young woman.

Do IT Hadlow Down

The ‘Do IT Hadlow Down’ computer sessions resume in St. Mark’s School this Friday 8th. June after the half-term break.
Computer tuition is free to all village resident adults.
If you’ve missed out on learning opportunities to use the internet, send emails, use a word processor, create spreadsheets, manipulate photographs and other IT subjects Join us in this very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A number of the members are currently creating slide presentations of Family History, War Memoirs, etc.
The club is run on a ‘drop-in’ basis and there is no commitment to consistently attend or work toward a qualification, we just learn what and when we want to.
Tuition is by a qualified Adult Learning Teacher, there is no charge for the tuition but a donation of £2.50 to school funds is asked for toward the tea & biscuits we enjoy in the break. The sessions starts at 2.30 pm.
