The "Hadlow Down an autobiography" is not the only book. Have a look at Richard's comments in my "Spitfire" thread. Plenty of us have the original book and no doubt it could be passed around or lent out to anybody who wants to read it - as long as they take care of it, now being out of print!

As for encouraging membership I agree far too much is accessible to anybody accessing the web site without logging on. It would not be a handicap to access because I assume we would alllow anybody worldwide to become a member. My cousin in Canada probably will. I'll ask her to login - could be our first overseas member.
